Meet English Language Teachers of Russia! Many of them have made a mark. Some of them were noted, and highlighted, and awarded.

Mikhail Nokhov

Mikhail Nokhov, the Access program coordinator from Khasavyurt, is a unique EFL teacher and teacher trainer. Just have a look at his website: http://www.accesskhas.ru
Mikhail is the Teacher of the Year' 2006, he has a few awards from the President of Dagestan being the Distinguished Teacher of Dagestan, and the Honorable Teacher of RF. He is doing amazing things with his students through the Global Classroom Project. On August 25th Mikhail Nokhov and his students were invited to present to the distinguished guests a presentation on the use of new technologies in the classroom. Their presentation included a videoconference in English with American and South Korean teachers and students.                                                      

Minister Fursenko was impressed with their presentation and confessed that he did not expect high school students to be so comfortable and well-versed in the use of new technologies.

Svetlana Semyonovykh

Svetlana Semyonovykh, the Head of the EL Program at the Birobijan In-Service Teachers Retraining Center, the Director of Access Microscholarship Program and All-Russia Coordinator for DFC Program has developed a wonderful program "Design for Change".
